From Japanese culture to the intimacy of our homes.
Torii Collection
A Torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred.
Torii coffee tables take these oriental inspired shapes and turn them into a piece of furniture.
The thin top of Torii coffee tables seems to float in the void, its suspended lines reminiscent of the Japanese entrance of the same name. The raw metal frame and legs combined with the ceramic top enhance the coffee table with the choice of scratchproof and stain resistant materials used to stand the test of time.
The different sizes and heights allow a play of joints and overlaps of the functional values.
